With the ongoing health concerns due to the Coronavirus, the Leadership Team at Journey Church has decided to NOT hold public services this weekend and instead, we are moving our service ONLINE, Sunday at 10:30 am.

As you all know, our Governor, Greg Abbot, declared the State of Emergency for Texas on Friday, in an effort to get ahead of the spread of the Coronavirus. Many universities, colleges, sports arenas, concert venues, and churches are voluntarily choosing to cease gathering in large groups as a health precaution to protect the most vulnerable among us.

While we are saddened to not meet together, we value the health and safety of everyone. We believe in being proactive in this time and in leading the way in our community by being steady and responding to this situation with calm confidence, as we focus on ministering to people in our own church and to all those around us.

Our Leadership Team will continue to monitor the situation day by day and will keep all of you informed as to when our in-person services will resume. Feel free to follow us on Instagram, Facebook, or continue to check-in by visiting this page for updates.

Journey Church, let’s not forget that church is not a building, but a body of believers. We are a family and each one of us makes up the church. So, as a church, we now have an opportunity to gather together online to get updates, engage in the message, respond in worship, and have opportunities to give toward people who are in need in this community!

We know God is not at all surprised by what’s happening, and we believe He has a plan and that He is going to use His church in some powerful ways in the lives of people around us.

Psalm 46:1 says “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”

Sincerely,

The Leadership Team at Journey Church
